Preventative maintanance inspection on 2011 Peterbilt. 300 hours school and work

I researched on. The cummins six15 the truck has. Alsot he oil and oil change intervals for the. Eaton transmision and spicer axles.I did a thourough inspection also of the air system and the steering system.I did find the back up alarm not working of the back up lights.I also found a leak in the power steering canister hoses.and also the positioning of the clamps on the tie rods was not correct. The right side air tank had water in it due to condensation and not bieng drained.I also noticed the pusher axle had bad wear patterns on the tread of the tire.I checked the air buid up and did the 5minute test the presure built up to the 120 psi and then dumped the air by pressing the brake and the alarm went off at 50 psi on the gauge. I also checked the cerk and there was 51 total.I have taken pictures of all the requested information on the sheets from all filters and the part numbers and oilgrades.also instructions on where. And proper procedures.I have taken atached msds on oil and coolants.

Hydraulic

worked hours this quarter 300 school and work

The spring quarter was packed with a lot of learning at Williams I helped on various projects.Such as the turbo install on the Clark tcv 12 and the compressor, new pistons and rods  installation on unit 5. and the pig launch projects.I also worked on smaller projects such as the new deck for the two axle trailer I installed and the painting and labeling of the tested and non tested pipes in the yard. The meter station demo of the old hydro lines and reinstall of the new ones was challenging but got it done. I did learn alot on the testing and tear down of stock pipe in the yard helping the welder.or the vent piping install on sippi nine, during the wet month of March.

There was many days of organizing and helping in the warehouse  all in all  spring Quarter at Williams was a great. In the shop at school I learned the Electrical boards and found the problem with the horn on the dodge the problem with the pin being missing in the harness of the Kenworth lights and testing on the loader simulator.Seems totally different from a real loader after many years of  operating loaders such as cat  IT 28 or 988B ,980 or john deere and komatsu loaders, scrapers21,31 and paddle wheels  excavators ,haul trucks  graders , dozers of all sizes  seemed  to me the simulator was a bit more challenging.but fun. I had tested  on the simulator at the 302 operators in Bothell and did pass on the dozers though.I learned about fittings and  cut a hose and installed some fittings,I did learn about hydraulics and tested  the pressure on the bobcat excavator,This has sparked a great interest in me to learn more of in the future.I see myself working in the power generation field. I have learned to learn and to research to find my answers.
Thank you Jeff for teaching me to use the greatest tool of all.
